About the Role:
Department: Finance & Accounting
Position Overview: The Senior Financial Systems Specialist is instrumental in the upkeep and functionality of the Company's financial systems. This role collaborates closely with both IT and Finance departments to refine system processes and bolster internal controls.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate month-end accounting activities within S/4 HANA
- Oversee and manage various financial platforms including Trintech Cadency and Oracle
- Assist in the testing and rollout of new system features
- Administer master data across all financial platforms
- Establish and maintain data quality assessment procedures
- Work alongside the Risks and Controls team to enhance internal operational controls
- Execute additional accounting and IT-related tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- Experience: Over 5 years in accounting systems, data governance, and internal controls
- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with SAP Finance module, experience with S/4 HANA Group Reporting, and a solid understanding of SOx/internal controls
