This company was established in 1953 and their Denver office opened in 1995

This company operates nationally with four specific business units: Earthwork, Site Utilities, Demolition, and Environmental Remediation

They work on a variety of project types ranging from apartment complexes, residential developments, commercial, office buildings, etc.

Estimators split their time between the office and field - about 80% office & 20% client/project sites

Candidates should have experience with Bid2Win or HeavyBid

Based out of Commerce City, CO

Responsibilities:

Responsible for estimating a wide range of Wet Utility projects from $50,000 to $15,000,000

Ensure that bids are completed timely, accurately and in a manner to win the project

Download and catalog bid documents

Attend pre-bid meetings and site investigations

Demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity to gain the best pricing

Review and understand bid scope and requirements thoroughly

Reviewing plans, specifications and soils reports

Quality takeoffs utilizing Bluebeam

Completing bids utilizing Bid2Win software

Production reviews with Chief Estimator and Director of Operations

Consistently follow up on submitted bids

Upon award actively contribute in project pre-planning

Attend industry and customer marketing events

Qualifications:

3+ years of site utilities estimating experience

Earthwork estimating experience is a plus

Experience with Bid2Win or HeavyBid

Must be able to read and understand construction plans, geotechnical reports and specifications
