Maintain comprehensive documentation of algorithms, testing methodologies, and outcomes, ensuring accessibility for team members.This role is both challenging and dynamic, requiring an individual with exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Stay informed about the latest advancements and research in state estimation, localization, and calibration, demonstrating a passion for creating innovative autonomous systems.
Proficiency in programming languages is a fundamental requirement for this position.A solid understanding of programming languages such as Python and C++ is essential, as these are widely utilized in the development and execution of state estimation, localization, and calibration algorithms.
Python is particularly crucial due to its flexibility and extensive libraries available for machine learning and data analysis tasks.
C++ is also commonly employed in robotics and autonomous systems.Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, along with two (2) years of experience in a Computer Engineering role.
Additional Requirements:
2+ years of experience in developing production-level software in C++, C, Matlab/Octave, and Python; demonstrated knowledge of fundamental linear algebra, geometry, and statistics; familiarity with basic robotic principles, such as rigid body transformations and Lie Groups; experience with Robotics libraries and tools including ROS, Eigen, OpenCV, PCL, Gazebo, OpenGL, and CUDA; knowledge of Nonlinear optimization techniques; experience with Lidar, camera, GNSS, or IMU technologies; familiarity with Kalman filters, bundle adjustment, or pose graph optimization; experience with traditional image processing; and knowledge of computational geometry, such as polygons, line strings, and rasters; experience integrating C++ with 3D Object Recognition methods.
