Camp Bow Wow is growing and we are looking for dog-loving, energetic, self-motivated and hard-working individuals to care for our Canine Campers.

Camp Bow Wow is a Premier dog care and boarding facility seeking a fun, smart, motivated self-starter to join our team of dog enthusiasts Experience with dogs is a plus, but not required and be able to love them from your heart. We are open 365 days/rain/sleet/snow/holidays and you MUST be able to work your scheduled shifts. We are currently seeking dedicated people for multiple shifts including weekends/Holidays. Need to be flexible and available for at least 5-6 shifts per week or for part time max 4 shifts.

Shifts are Monday-Saturday 6:30am-1pm and 12pm-7:15pm.

Sundays/Holidays 6:30am-10:30am and 3:30pm-7:15pm.

We have 4 play yards each with indoor/outdoor access. The play yards are divided between large and small dogs and also by dog temperament. Dog Care Specialists are responsible for maintaining control of the play yards and ensuring all dogs are safe and healthy at all times. This requires being on your feet and walking the yards constantly. A successful Dog Care Specialist will be aware of their environment at all times and have the ability to act quickly at the first signs of behavioral issues. Also responsible for feeding, providing basic grooming and performing heavy cleaning on a daily basis. Cleaning includes sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing and mopping, taking out the trash and using specific cleaning chemicals according to safety health regulations.

  • Ability to take direction from superior and work with other team members as well as independently perform physically demanding work.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds AND remain on your feet for long periods of time
  • Manage multi-dog play groups
  • The ability to work with large and small dogs and all breeds
  • Effectively communicate both orally and written
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Able to make good use of time
  • Have a passion for dogs
