Summary of Position

The Office Assistant II will directly support the Associate Registrar - Operations. Responsibilities include handling office tasks to assist the Course Scheduling Office/Continental Records. Tasks involve managing online course enrollments, addressing distance learning inquiries, and assisting in class creation.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience criteria: Six years of clerical work, or 30 credit hours towards a degree and two years of clerical experience, or an Associate's Degree and one year of clerical work

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague Student Application and Informer
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Blackboard Learning Management System is advantageous
  • Effective communication skills, especially via email
  • Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability to changing work environments
