Boutique wealth management firm based in is seeking a Financial Advisor. This position works directly with the President to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services for clients and prospects seeking advice on how to reach their financial goals. This position will be a primary contact with current and prospective clients to provide inbound and outbound support for client and partners interested in learning more about the firm's services. In this role, you will be providing Personal Financial Planning, Wealth Management and Portfolio Consulting services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop an assigned book of client relationships.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with new clients by prospecting and networking.
  • Account coverage for the company's existing clients.
  • Accept and place client trade orders in brokerage and advisory accounts.
  • Provide excellent telephone coverage including ability to manage priorities; handle urgent calls with professionalism and good judgment.
  • Act as back up to the President and other advisors, work independently to resolve complex problems and transactions.
  • Problem-solve for complex client problems and transactions.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development in support of the business.
  • Some industry-specific travel may be required (all reimbursed).
  • Proactively work with clients of the firm to identify asset and revenue generating opportunities and execute solutions that support our clients' financial goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in wealth management preferred.
  • FINRA and NYS insurance licenses preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Desire to be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team

Compensation: $50-60K base DOE plus revenue share (potential to make over $100K in the first year) and full benefits package.
