Chief Operating Officer (COO) Position at Educational Organization


The Chief Operating Officer (COO) reports directly to the President and CEO, collaborating closely with key officers and executives to develop and manage systems and initiatives supporting the organization's strategic vision for impactful education policy research.

The ideal candidate is a self-directed leader with expertise in designing management systems, particularly for start-ups and high-growth enterprises. This position offers a unique platform for an experienced organizational builder dedicated to making a difference in education.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective systems to support organizational goals
  • Participate in strategic planning and ensure operationalization of plans
  • Manage internal processes and support problem-solving efforts
  • Assess organizational performance and drive improvements

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a matrixed environment

Compensation:

The annual salary for this role is in the range of $150,000 to $200,000, based on experience and expertise.
