  • Receiving, stocking, preparation, and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.
-
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Drive/Operate forklift and electronic pallet jack.
  • Pick merchandise from slots.
  • Load merchandise into trucks.
  • Drop merchandise from 'reserve' to 'pick' slots.
  • Prepare 'Via' merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
  • Repack loose merchandise.
  • Performs housekeeping duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:

  • Ability to pass Warehouse Aptitude Test.
  • Able to lift 4060 pounds repeatedly and lbs. occasionally each shift.
  • Able to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and twist for extended periods.
  • Able to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker and complete forklift training/certification requirements.
  • Able to operate a Voice Pick system and the shrink wrap machine.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
