We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the NICU, adhering to established standards of practice and organizational policies.
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment, optimizing outcomes and maximizing available resources.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- One (1) year of nursing experience required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
- PALS certification required for Pediatric areas, with the exception of NICU.
- NRP certification required for NICU.
- Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) required for L&D RNs.
The NICU is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
