Regional Risk and Control Director

GroupM is seeking to fill the position of Regional Risk and Control Director

Overview:
- Challenging role with various priorities and wide range of stakeholders

Responsibilities:
  • Reinforce ethics and integrity culture
  • Identify risks, anticipate issues, and recommend solutions
  • Support management in building beneficial relationships while ensuring compliance
  • Utilize technology and innovation for optimizing risk and control activities
  • Provide customized information on control performance

Duties:
  1. Promote ethics and integrity culture
  2. Engage with internal and external stakeholders
  3. Set regional standards and communicate updates effectively
  4. Focus on risk areas and suggest improvements
  5. Ensure acquisitions meet compliance standards
  6. Recruit, train, develop, and lead regional team
  7. Coordinate audit activities and monitor remediation
  8. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide necessary support
  9. Coordinate Risk & Controls activities efficiently

Requirements:
  • Qualified in ACA/CA/ACCA with over 10 years of experience
  • Structured approach to balance multiple demands and priorities
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
  • Experience in media and advertising preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish required, Portuguese is a plus
