What does a Therapist at Our Organization do?

  • Provide crisis intervention, individual, group, conjoint, and family therapy.
  • Carry a client caseload within set limits.
  • Work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Assess, formulate, and implement clinical assessments and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate clinical case records.
  • Participate in professional development activities.
  • Ensure service productivity.
  • Engage in continuing education and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate should hold a Master's Degree in Social Work or relevant field related to mental health from an accredited institution.
  • Must be registered to practice clinical work in Michigan.
  • Prior experience in mental health or human services is preferred.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and applications.
  • Preferably bilingual in English and Arabic/Chaldean.
