Participates in the preparation of the strategic plan for Technology Services by defining the overall technology architecture for JEA's business strategy and in the determination of feasibility, planning, design and construction of enterprise technology solutions.

Also provides input and technical expertise to the enterprise planning process.

Creates and maintains architectural models of enterprise business processes and rules, information and technology to identify relationships, manage system complexity and integrate and align business and information technology resources.

Serves on project teams as technical lead or technical resource to champion conformance with fundamental principles and common methodologies governing the information systems development process.


Security Architect Knowledge of:

  • Business requirements and processes as related to enterprise architecture.

OPEN REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field and eight (8) years of professional IT experience within the specialty area of Security Architecture.

A MBA/MS degree and six (6) years combination of education, training and experience within the specialty area of Security Architecture.


  • OR
A twelve (12) year combination of education, training and experience in within the specialty area of Security Architecture.
