As a Local Client Manager, you will be working at the center of Maersk as a Global Integrator of Container Logistics.

Supported by a team of specialists, including project managers with extensive experience and a sales team dedicated to customer success within the Key Client Team.

We are seeking energetic, customer facing professionals who enjoy complex logistics challenges.

The candidate should have a proven track record of building Customer Relationships and delivering results for Maersk Ground Freight(MGF) in Full, Middle and Final Mile solutions.

A strategic mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and win new and additional business.

Your main activities and responsibilities will include:

The pursuit of new and additional customer business in an assigned Key Client portfolio Identify, qualify, consult, and develop value propositions enabling the sale of large-scale supply chain solutionsPro-actively search, qualify, develop, and engage into new strategic multi-level relationshipsIdentify customer needs, opportunities, and key buying factors for pursuits, and formalize those into account plans and strategies in Sales Force.comYou will be responsible for creating and managing pursuit plans and collaborating pursuit plans with product and project teamsYou will develop global/local business plan for increasing overall supply chain share of walletYou will define the local value proposition and work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growthYou will be responsible for Customer Satisfaction - support the overall customer experience and support the global value propositionYou will upsell and cross-sell new productsYou will deliver client profitability as per budgetRepresent Maersk Ground Freight in relevant industry, vertical and marketing eventsPerform regular customer calls and exchange as well as regular physical customer visits depending on customer needsIdentify and share customer strategies with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure product development is aligned to changing customer needs.

We are looking for someone with
  • Excellent stakeholder management, able to set clear direction, priorities, and focus, as well as network, motivate others and build lasting partnerships including at senior levels of the organizationLogistics expertise in Maersk Ground Freight Landside Solutions (Full, Middle and Final Mile) including industry insightsSelf motivated and performance drivenConsultative selling is preferredThorough product understanding and ability to use variety of products to solve customer challenges.

Strong negotiation skillsOutstanding verbal and written presentation skillsCurious and pro-active personThoroughly understands customer drivers, needs and requirementsHas good knowledge about market, competitor, and industry trendsSelf-starting and entrepreneurial attitude; Drive things as if they were your own businessLeverages internal and external financial data and understands account economicsBuilds and Executes winning account strategies and proposalsLead negotiations and coordinate complex decision-making processStrong and current knowledge of technology platforms, Sales Force, MS Office products, and ability to quickly adapt to new software.
