This part-time equivalent professional salary to support KCDD's programming and self-advocacy work.
This staff member would be responsible for:
¿ This position will support KCDD's abuse, neglect, and exploitation (ANE) and health equity programming to strengthen, enhance, and grow the development and delivery of KCDD's training initiatives.
¿ Help ensure self-advocates are better represented in KCDD's mission, vision, and programming and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
¿ Provide information to self-advocates and a wide range of Kansas professionals through educational opportunities in a variety of formats which may include written materials, discussions at meetings, training sessions, or group presentations.
¿ Work collaboratively with state partners to ensure the voice of self-advocates and individuals with lived experience is present in state efforts involving I/DD.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in planning, organizing and directing the work of a department, program or agency. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
