Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) / Infusion Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in administering IV therapies, upholding top safety standards, professionalism, and ensuring client satisfaction. The specialist will also assist in customizing health and wellness plans for patients to address root problems and achieve optimal well-being.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following):

IV Therapy Administration:

  • Administer various intravenous therapies, including hydration, vitamins, minerals, and other specialized treatments
  • Monitor and assess guests during the infusion process to ensure their well-being

Client Assessment:

  • Conduct comprehensive Good Faith Exams to determine the most suitable IV therapy for individual clients (in collaboration with staff Nurse Practitioner/Medical Doctor, as needed)
  • Effectively communicate with clients/guests to collect pertinent medical history and address any concerns
  • Proficiency in conducting Good Faith Exams/health assessments in the practice and/or telehealth settings

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatment plans, and administered therapies
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines and company protocols to safeguard patient information confidentiality

Quality Control:

  • Ensure the sterility and integrity of IV equipment and solutions
  • Follow infection control and safety standards
  • Assist the team in maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and organized spa

Client Education:

  • Educate guests on the benefits of IV hydration and wellness therapies
  • Provide guidance on post-treatment care and lifestyle recommendations
  • Present wellness plans and membership options to new guests

Customer Service:

  • Welcome and engage with guests: intake discussion includes understanding the purpose of their visit and their health objectives
  • Support with office administrative tasks as required, such as guest check-in/out, scheduling, etc

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Licensed/Registered Nurse with a degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (including continuous education)
  • Hold a valid Basic Life Support License (BLS Certificate)
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience in acute care settings (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, or similar) with extensive IV experience
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity, precision control, and arm-hand steadiness
  • Ability to handle various/multiple IV Therapies
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and preventive measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection control, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-end spa environment and adapt to workplace needs
  • Strong verbal communication skills to explain procedures clearly, address client queries, and coordinate care
  • Show compassion and empathy towards clients, creating a positive and comfortable experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Aptitude for both independent work and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable with building relationships and sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications (docs, etc)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee will work in a clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated laboratory. They will engage in talking and listening regularly. The employee will often use their hands or fingers to handle objects, tools, controls. At times, they may need to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl. Occasional lifting and moving of up to 35 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities needed include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. There may be exposure to hazards like radiation, bodily fluids carrying diseases, and fumes from laboratory chemicals.
