Career Strategy Consultants is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a large manufacturing client near Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for managing sales teams in their Midwest Territory of the US and will be required to travel extensively. Our client will offer a generous base salary, lucrative bonus incentives, full benefits, and the opportunity for future growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, developing and maintaining constructive and productive business relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
- Self-motivated, organized, proactive and driven with demonstrated sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
- Strong history of building cross-functional, matrix team relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent listening and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels and be comfortable leading meetings with senior management.
- Ability to travel 50-75%.
- BS in business, marketing, sales or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sales role(s) of increasing responsibility; outside sales experience required.
- Experience in pricing and margin drivers required.
- Demonstrable sales results showing market share increases within strategic customer base.
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment and/or the Steel industry preferred.
