Summary:


As an Airport Dispatch Personnel, you will be a key member of the airport transportation team, responsible for efficiently coordinating and dispatching vehicles to meet the travel needs of passengers.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities ? Prepare and organize clipboards for drivers at the start of each shift.

  • Provide a briefing to drivers on their daily schedule, and any special instructions or changes, and verify that all necessary documents and equipment are in order.
  • Handle incoming calls from customers efficiently and courteously.
Assist customers with inquiries, booking reservations, and modifications to existing reservations.

  • Regularly check and verify flight times for arrivals and departures to anticipate any changes or delays that could affect scheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
Update drivers and customers promptly on any changes.

  • Coordinate the logistics of driver assignments and vehicle availability to ensure timely and efficient service.
Use dispatch software to track vehicle locations and status.

  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatch operations, including driver schedules, vehicle assignments, and customer interactions.
Ensure all data is up-to-date and accessible.

  • Handle complaints or problems where applicable.
  • Have constant open communication with all other departments to ensure efficiency.
  • Work closely with all other departments to ensure every accident/incident/mechanical problem will be handled as efficiently as possible and must communicate accurately and promptly with all our clients.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:

  • Experience in a dispatch, transportation, customer service, or similar role.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry.

Competencies/Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interaction skills required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, GPS, and dispatch software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good computer and software knowledge is essential.

Physical Demands:

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Office environment with moderate noise level may also be exposed to outdoor environment and traffic with moderate noise level.
