About the Role

As the Head of Strategic Finance, you will have the unique opportunity to support Charlie Health's rapid growth and most important financial and operational decisions with analytical insights and strategic recommendations.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will oversee a team of three running our operating model and evaluating large resource and capital allocation decisions (assessing the economic viability of a new market, channel, product, etc.).

This is a high-impact, highly visible role critical in shaping Charlie Health's long-term business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial modeling and forecasting process.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate KPIs to provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create new, or refine existing, processes to better achieve business objectives.
  • Work closely with our go-to-market team to evaluate new product and/or partnership opportunities.
  • Manage investor relations and external reporting.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar subject area.
  • IB out of undergrad + buyside experience (PE/HF) and/or corporate finance background.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in building insights from scratch, including sourcing, transforming, analyzing, and presenting complex financial and operational data in a simple, easily understandable way.
  • Driven self-starter who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and building complex financial models in Excel or similar tools.
  • Excited by the chance to join a high-growth company with the ability to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment.
  • Good sense of humor. You enjoy the work you do and the people who work with you.
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency.
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week in our NYC office and located within 75 minutes commuting distance of the office.
