Cyber Technology Services, Inc. is assisting a U.S. Government client on a vital project to create, maintain, and enhance a network operations environment while integrating new cyber capabilities to combat evolving threats. They are currently seeking a Senior Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist the client in identifying, responding to, mitigating, and reporting cyber threats affecting their networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing 24/7 monitoring and incident response for hybrid cloud/on-premises customer networks
  • Supporting in detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats
  • Producing reports to illustrate the threat landscape and associated risks
  • Assisting in investigating cyber activities targeting customer information and infrastructure
  • Analyzing and reporting cyber threats
  • Supporting shifts and onsite work as required
  • Developing and implementing training standards and procedures
  • Overseeing training of analysts

Required Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience in SOC, computer intrusion analysis, incident response, network protocols, and secure architectures
  • Strong Cyber Security Incident Response training
  • Knowledge of network intrusion detection and response operations
  • Experience with MITRE Adversary Tactics

Desired Skills:

  • Cloud-based security experience
  • Experience in intrusion detection, forensic analysis, and data recovery
  • Scripting experience (Linux/Windows command line, Python, Perl)
  • Experience with SIEM Technologies (Splunk)

Required Certifications:
DoDI M IAT Level II Technical Certification and Incident Response Certification, and Cloud Security Certification (AWS or Azure)

Required Education:
BS in Incident Management, Operations Management, Cybersecurity, or related field.
