Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to provide support for a large-scale technical development program. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks and vulnerabilities in information systems, as well as managing overall network security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security controls and responses to mitigate cyber risks
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats
  • Collaborate with senior decision makers to provide actionable data and recommendations
  • Manage and maintain system accreditation, including ensuring proper patch levels and uploading cyclic scans
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings and application review boards to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • 12+ years of experience in cyber security or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, testing, or implementing IT security architecture
  • Experience with network security analysis and risk management methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Experience with entitlement management programs
  • PMP, SAFe Agilist Certification, or AWS certification
