Assistant Corporate Controller

DUTIES

  • Own the monthly close process while mentoring and developing a team of 3-5 direct reports.
  • Drive new initiatives including automation, ERP implementations, and building out processes and procedures
  • Play a lead role in the accounting surrounding acquisitions of new businesses
  • Research and provide accounting guidance to ensure the company is up to date on best practices
  • Support the completion of a successful financial audit
  • Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's in accounting or finance
  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • 3+ years of public accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with a large ERP system
