Position Summary:

As Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront, driving sales growth, fostering a culture of excellence, closely collaborating with marketing colleagues, and coaching a team of sales professionals to excel in new business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals
  • Establish and reinforce effective accountability standards
  • Provide strategic guidance on selling techniques
  • Create or assist in the development of individual territory success plans
  • Navigate crucial conversations and tackle challenges head-on
  • Collaborate effectively with the leadership team to align sales strategies with overall business goals, ensuring a unified approach to market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Actively participate in strategy development conversations, contributing valuable insights and feedback from the sales perspective. Help shape Clearwaters strategic direction by analyzing market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Design and execute sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy of sales-related information and documentation.

  • 8 or more years as a proven sales manager, with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Natural networker, intentional strategies to build and maintain a personal network and external relationships
  • Strong desire for achievement, paired with self-driven initiative and follow-through, the ability to drive outcomes and an appetite for learning
  • Collaborative approach, be a team player who contributes, strives for continuous improvement, and has the ability to develop and nurture internal relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong organization to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and flexible to address conflicting priorities that arise.

While the absence of the following skills isnt a disqualifier, their presence will certainly make you a more attractive candidate:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Experience with in home sales
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (e.g. SEO, PPC, Social Media) and the capabilities of each.
  • Experience with water treatment or related industries
* in developing strategies for attending sales and community events

  • Familiarity managing communications, activities and pipeline in a CRM related platform. Or with Odoo.
