Responsibilities:
  • Process business activity through the general ledger to the financial statements
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all cash accounts, create journal entries, and maintain prepaid accrual schedules.
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly financial reports
  • Assist in the set-up of bank accounts, accounting systems, and financial reports
  • Review and approve all accounts payable, payment disbursements
  • Prepare, review, and assist with annual recovery reconciliations and estimated billings.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules monthly.
  • Timely preparation of monthly standard reporting packages and response to managers' and clients' inquiries.
  • Assist with annual budgets, prepare audit packages, and provide lender reports as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree inAccounting or Finance preferred but not required.
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP.
  • Multi entity accounting a plus
  • Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Highly analytical and possess superb attention to detail, organization and multitasking abilities
