Responsibilities:

  • Collect vendor details for onboarding and verify banking instructions

  • Receive material purchases in the ERP system to complete purchase order matching
  • Participate in identifying process improvement opportunities and providing solutions
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with 3+ years of recent work experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., prepaid, capex vs. opex) and/or GL accounting experience in a non-PO backed environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with continuous changes
  • Proficiency in Excel for managing large data sets (e.g., filtering, sorting, exporting, importing)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the company
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, and familiarity with AP automation platforms (e.g., Tipalti or ) preferred
  • Familiarity with project accounting or multi-entity accounting in a construction or manufacturing setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other organizational tools
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a start-up environment
  • Pre-employment background check required
