Route Service Manager - UniFirst ($1,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Location: Puyallup, Washington

UniFirst is currently offering a New Hire Incentive Bonus at their Puyallup, WA location for Service new hires. To be eligible for this bonus, new hires must meet the following criteria:

  • Reach 180 days of employment to receive the full bonus
  • Abide by UniFirst's 90-Day Probationary Period, including adherence to attendance and performance policies
  • Have no prior employment history with UniFirst

About the Role and Company:

UniFirst is searching for a Route Service Manager to join their team. In this role, the Route Service Manager will be responsible for recruiting and leading a team of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who cater to various customers daily, ranging from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, foster account growth, and enhance profitability for the location.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the recruitment, training, and development of a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors
  • Forge strong relationships with customers to elevate satisfaction levels and team performance
  • Collaborate closely with the management team to deliver top-notch customer service and product offerings
  • Negotiate customer contract renewals

Qualifications:

  • A results-oriented relationship manager willing to work hands-on with the team and prioritize customer needs
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors, providing them the necessary support for professional growth
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage diverse customer service scenarios
  • Proficiency in negotiation, training, coaching, and leadership
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid non-commercial driver's license in the state of residence
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
