Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facilities in Hauppauge, NY.

The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands a leader with a robust background in manufacturing operations, process optimization, and team management.

As VP of Operations, you will collaborate closely with the executive team to align operational strategies with our overall business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:
Lead and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance.

Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards.

Team Management:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Budget Management:
Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.

Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

Technology and Innovation:
Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices to enhance manufacturing capabilities and maintain competitive advantage.

Performance Metrics:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and make data-driven decisions.

Customer Focus:


Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, meeting customer expectations and requirements.


Co-Packer Management:
Work closely with co-packers to ensure products are manufactured to quality standards and delivered on time.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of successful operations management, process improvement, and team leadership.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
