Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures on the production floor
  • Enhance manufacturing processes for ISO, OSHA, and customer requirements
  • Engage on the production floor to troubleshoot processes, conduct audits, review procedures, and provide training
  • Communicate daily objectives for Production goal achievement
  • Oversee tooling modifications completion
  • Manage extrusion inventory with the Materials Manager
  • Ensure timely completion of production orders
  • Provide updates to relevant stakeholders on productivity, scheduling, and other issues
  • Collaborate with Plant Manager on departmental budget and EBITDA goals
  • Accountable for deadlines, quality, scrap rates, and other key metrics
  • Regular communication with operators and engineers
  • Ensure proper training and motivation of employees
  • Maintain plant organization and cleanliness
  • Contribute to positive teamwork environment
  • Input department data accurately into IQMS
  • Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications

Key Skills and Attributes
  • Energetic, motivated, with strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, extrusion experience a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, IQMS, and Paycom payroll system
  • Knowledge of business reporting tools
