Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ.

This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
Perform complex functional and data product analysis

Apply knowledge and expertise in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new functionality for multiple complex applications

Accountable for the management of business deliverables with minimal oversight and direction

Work directly with key business partners to manage initiative and BAU requirements

Routinely interface and build strong working relationships with senior level Business Stakeholders, Technology Managers, and support teams

Provide oversight and guidance to more junior business and technical analysts with ability to assist team members through project impediments

Enable support to both business and technology teams

Support a very large number of global data feeds/data sets from brokers and dealers

Requirements:

7+ years' experience in business analysis including systems analysis, and Data Analysis troubleshooting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing high quality, clear, business-friendly design specifications that can also be easily interpreted by technology peers

Proficient in SQL for data analysis related activities

Technically Capable

Strong appreciation of how software is designed and developed, tested, and released end-to-end (SDLC)

Subject matter expertise in Markets, Investment and Trade Surveillance and Compliance with strong project management experience

Extensive background in SQL development enabling support for extremely complex SQL queries that can process large amounts of data in very short processing windows

Ability to handle and resolve very critical regulatory inquires within very aggressive timeframes

Oracle database experience in containers

Project Management and data modeling experience Agile

Experienced with Agile mythology, process flow, and solid understanding of creating stories

Knowledge of SQL queries and MS office applications

Strong communication and presentation skills to work with senior business and technology executives

Strong analytical skills

Broad GBAM technology and business knowledge

Solid understanding of the deal process and IBK business

Strong data management

Ability to handle multiple complex projects in parallel

Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with both technology and management teams

Strong computer-based skills

Strong presentation and facilitation skills

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of SQL queries and MS office applications

Desired skills:
Scrum Master certification

Pay Range:
$ $54.18
