Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize large databases to ensure high performance and availability
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery in a large-scale environment
  • Work with onsite client team and application owners to migrate applications and databases
  • Take lead on projects and work as part of a team to deliver results
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of IT experience, particularly in large environments
  • Extensive experience working in large environments
  • Strong experience in performance tuning and automation scripting
  • Knowledge of SQL Server internals and cloud services like AWS
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
Preferred Skills:
  • Query optimization and performance troubleshooting
  • Experience working on large databases (10TB-30TB)
  • Knowledge of MSSQL server internals and table partitioning
  • HA/DR experience and automation scripting skills
