PTI Soils is your one-stop source for your high-end landscape and custom soil needs.

We partner with developers and contractors to provide the materials they need for their projects all through the San Francisco Bay Area.

PTI Soils is located in Livermore, CA and has been in business for over 25 years. We've served the East Bay area and built a reputation as a company you could trust. We started mixing custom soil blends about 25 years ago at the request of some of our customers.

They needed specialty soils and asked if we could help them, so we worked together to create a custom blend that would meet their needs.

Today, we offer custom soil blends, biotreatment soil, baseball and infield mix for both baseball fields and community parks, sand for equestrian arenas, bulk gravel for construction or landscape projects and more.

We focus on industrial and commercial projects exclusively.

Job description:

Daily:

  • Quickbooks entry of payables and receivables
  • Discuss with Office Manager entry and posting of A/R and A/P
  • Process vendor invoices by matching against PO and receiving documents
  • Process incoming payments against A/R invoices
  • Process bank deposits
  • Collections calls for overdue A/R
  • General Office duties for PTI including answer phones, talk to customers, etc.
  • Add new vendors and customers as needed

Weekly:

  • Review and prepare cash management and other reporting for management
  • Review past due A/R
  • Review which invoices to pay and ensure match
  • Review AP for vendors to pay after discussion with Management/Office Manager
  • Write checks
  • Make credit card payments
  • Add up timecards

Biweekly:

  • Process payroll
  • Log employee hours

Monthly:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile credit cards and other duties as required by Office Manager and management
Annually

  • Prepare final reconciliations and other schedules for auditor/CPA
  • Other duties to create yearend reports and new budgets
  • Other duties as needed.
