Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant Position:

  • Data Mastery: Skillfully handle data entry for credit card statements and receipts, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Journal Excellence: Prepare and code journal entries in the general ledger, contributing to the overall financial integrity.
  • Documentation Perfection: Verify the completeness of necessary documentation, maintaining meticulous records.
  • Managerial Support: Send processed credit card statements to the accounting manager for approval, showcasing your commitment to quality.
  • Data Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of all data entry and documentation, ensuring the reliability of financial information.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience of the Accounting Assistant:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of one year in an accounting or bookkeeping role, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
  • Tech Savvy: Basic Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Adobe PDFs, showcasing your adaptability.
  • Communication Prowess: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration.
