Position Summary- University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) focuses on securing private funding to enhance teaching, learning, and research initiatives at the University.
- The Director of Alumni Relations role at NYU Silver involves crafting and executing engagement plans for alumni nationally and internationally to boost alumni involvement, contribute to development targets, and provide networking opportunities for current students.
- This position collaborates closely with various university departments and stakeholders to drive alumni engagement and support.
- UDAR promotes work-life balance, offering a hybrid work arrangement for this role.
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Education: Master's Degree
- Required Experience: 7+ years in alumni relations or related fields
- Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proven expertise in developing inclusive programs, marketing alumni services, and managing relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in alumni fundraising is a plus
- Strong planning, communication, and persuasion skills
- Ability to effectively work with internal stakeholders
- Track record of building relationships with volunteers and overseeing budgets
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
