Key Responsibilities:

• Developing global category strategies, optimizing LS&Co.'s Supply base, managing tail spend, rationalizing suppliers, and consolidating spend within designated categories

• Category Management:

• Creating and executing category strategies for global distribution and logistics

• Ensuring alignment with key stakeholders to outline sourcing strategies and identify market opportunities

• Engaging consistently with stakeholders

• Ensuring Contract Compliance

• Establishing preferred/approved supplier mapping across assigned categories/subcategories

• Mentoring and enhancing the skills of team members in technical and soft aspects

• Collaborating with business partners to conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance, including quarterly business reviews as needed

• Staying updated on procurement best practices, technologies, and market trends related to assigned categories and regions

• Leveraging Sourcing Tools:
o Providing Savings reports and updates to GSS and Stakeholder leadership as required
o Monitoring and assessing all initiatives within GSS PM system
o Integrating E-auction and RFX technology in sourcing processes

Years and Type of Experience Required:

• Minimum of 8 years experience in Indirect Category sourcing, particularly in Distribution & Logistics. Additional experience in sourcing across HR, Professional Services, IT, Marketing, and Facilities would be advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Strong leadership attributes encompassing effective cross-functional communication, team building, and project management skills

• Impressive influencing abilities to manage complexity and multiple priorities successfully

• Demonstrated analytical skills driving creative problem-solving, proposal preparation, and negotiation

• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and leading multiple complex initiatives

• Results-driven, proactive, and capable of translating strategies into actionable plans effectively

• In-depth understanding of end-to-end strategic sourcing processes

• Internal: Global Indirect Procurement, business partners, leadership, and Finance

• External (if applicable): Global Indirect supplier base, including executive account leadership

The salary range for this position is $116,300 to $175,900. Compensation may vary based on factors like location, education, experience, skills, performance, and business requirements.
