Role DescriptionForm Energy is hiring a supervisor to lead our R&D Subscale Build Team. Your role is part of our engineering team.

Your team is responsible for creating small batteries from our electrode process teams and delivering , centered around the latest advancements of our internal testing efforts.

Your team works on scaling, stabilizing, and continuously improving processes to fulfill our internal demand.

You will contribute to the creation and evolution of lean manufacturing processes and work closely with technicians to improve quality and reliability.

As the supervisor you work cross-functionally in partnership with our R&D, materials, and process engineering teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible missionWhat you'll do:Lead and develop a team of 5+ techniciansManage resourcing schedules and meet the ever changing demand from our internal customersHelp your team navigate change and have the resources they need to adapt as neededCollaborate with process operations teams to ensure quality and throughput are maintained at a high standardBe a champion of safety for a growing team and novel processesAid in the introduction, scale-up, and continuous improvement of flexible internal R&D processesWhat you'll bring:5+ years of experience working in an R&D assembly or manufacturing environment2+ years with people manager responsibilitiesExperience in leading teams through operational changes, advocating for continuous improvement, and ensuring all team members are aligned with new work instructions and processesCapable of managing team resources, supporting cross-functional requests, and facilitating career development and training for team members.
