Assistant Clinic Manager- bilingual preferred

At Uptown Community Health Center we improve the health of our community and provide care that respects the dignity of each person, especially those that are underserved. We teach tomorrow's physicians and healthcare professionals to provide excellent medical care with compassion and kindness.

As a part of Uptown Community Health Center, Bruner Family Medicine sees patients of all ages and backgrounds. As the main clinic for a Residency program we have over 30 different Providers. We have 4 specialty clinics within Bruner that are ran by our Faculty.

The Assistant Clinic Manager will work closely with the Practice Administrator to oversee the clinic's daily functions, ensuring efficient patient registration, and overall daily activities of the practice. The Assistant Clinic Manager directly oversees the Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) and the Quality Project Coordinator (QPC) while providing leadership support in various administrative and operational aspects of the clinic.

  • Oversee Quality Project Coordinator: including multiple complex projects related to Quality, Practice Transformation, and value-based reimbursement.
  • Oversees data board management and contributes to innovative strategies for engaging staff in quality measures.
  • Supports Practice Administrator in hiring, training, and evaluating new staff.
  • Collaborates with Practice Administrator for scheduling, time and attendance, disciplinary actions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure clinic compliance with HIPAA guidelines and other regulatory standards. Attending regulatory meetings and disseminating relevant information to staff, as necessary.
  • Assist the Practice Administrator with back office administrative duties; run daily huddles per huddle procedure, staff schedules and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains and oversees work queue's for but limited to; financial, WellHealth, and referral as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Three (3) years' experience in healthcare management


Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in related field

Experience with Epic application and heath record.

Experience and understanding of Microsoft Office.

Experience working with diverse patient populations.

Bilingual English / Spanish, complete comprehension, literacy, and fluency in both languages
