Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at Rocky Mountain Surgical Specialists. As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
  • Check-in and check-out patients, verifying demographic and insurance information
  • Collect co-payments and personal balances, and perform administrative duties as needed
  • Assist nursing staff with patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing exam rooms
  • May collect patient specimens and perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
  • Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) or obtain certification within 60 days of employment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
