Join Us as an Environmental Services Director

Purpose:

The Environmental Services Director plays a crucial role in planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of our community's physical plant to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance and housekeeping operations to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, coordinating with staff, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the community's physical plant.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in maintenance or housekeeping
  • Knowledge of maintenance and housekeeping policies, laws, and regulations
  • Valid Driver's License

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Customer service oriented
  • Team player
Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with laws and safety codes
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
  • Conduct building inspections
  • Supervise safety and fire prevention programs
  • Oversee landscaping and maintenance contractors
  • Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule
  • Participate in training programs
  • Ensure confidentiality of Resident care information
  • Submit weekly reports and invoices
  • Perform other duties as needed

Note: This role may involve occasional participation in social media or community advertising.
