Guideline is seeking a

Sales Manager to lead our growing team of Sales Coordinators. This role will report to the Sales Manager and is available on the West Coast, with a strong preference for access to our San Diego, CA office.

What Will You Be Working On*We are looking for an experienced, data-driven, and motivational leader to partner with Sales leadership and enable our teams full potential. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves building and leading high performing teams, hiring new team members, reporting key prospect metrics, and continuously identifying opportunities to grow the business.

Success in this role will manifest by increasing the number of qualified leads per rep, scaling and growing the team, and building outbound sales development motions for the entire team.


  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Coordinators with a focus on professional development and growth through coaching and feedback
  • Aggressively hire and scale a team of Sales Coordinators
  • Define, report, and continuously improve on team KPIs (MQL to SQL conversion rates, efficacy of outbound efforts, lead campaigns, etc)
  • Collaborate with our SalesOps and Data Teams to improve and enhance internal reporting
Develop and refine our inbound and outbound sales development motions

  • Advocate for our prospects with internal stakeholders

What Were Looking For** 3+ years experience in a client facing role, ideally in the SaaS or Fintech industry

  • 1+ years experience managing a team of high performing individual contributors
  • Experience with outbound sales development
  • Experience with reporting and analyzing data, as well as delivering action plans against these results
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, or other CRM tools
  • Strong communicator with a talent for working with team members in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexible - were moving fast, so the ability to constantly adapt to new conditions is a must
  • Passionate about technology as well as experience in using technology to deliver prospect solutions
