Tara Cares, a company providing administrative support to long-term care facilities, requires a Human Resources Consultant to offer guidance for supported nursing facilities in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

The role demands in-depth knowledge and expertise across all Human Resources areas.


DUTIES

  • Recruiting, retention, and staffing support from entry-level to executive positions.
  • Monitoring daily HR functions and addressing issues at assigned facilities.
  • Interpreting HR policies and procedures for management and staff.
  • Ensuring facilities are prepared for state surveys.
  • Guiding managers on disciplinary procedures and assisting with employee counseling.
  • Providing advice on employee relations to management.
  • Analyzing training needs and delivering programs to staff as required.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Extensive professional background in HR.
  • PHR Certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel between facilities regularly.
  • Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
