Position Overview:
This role is integral to the Bureau of HIV, STD, and Hepatitis within the Section for Disease Prevention.

About the Role:

As an HIV Epidemiology Consultant, you will engage in vital education initiatives aimed at the general populace, individuals at heightened risk for infections, and healthcare providers. Your efforts will focus on enhancing access to prevention and testing services for HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and Viral Hepatitis, as well as facilitating improved care and treatment options.


Key Responsibilities:

Join a dedicated team committed to implementing four essential strategies to combat the HIV epidemic:

  1. Diagnose: Identify individuals who are HIV positive.
  2. Treat: Ensure those diagnosed receive necessary medical care.
  3. Prevent: Educate the community on prevention methods.
  4. Respond: Address the needs of those affected by HIV.

Your contributions will play a significant role in connecting individuals who are unaware of their HIV status or those who have fallen out of care with essential resources and education, ultimately aiding in the fight against the HIV epidemic in Missouri.
