KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.

Responsibilities:

Manage the preparation and delivery of business license and tax registration servicesReview data received from KPMG clients to assist with determining a client's US Business License and Tax Registration obligationsAssist the go to market, M&A and local office teams to identify targets and scope for business license and registration servicesOversee onshore/offshore teams of business license and registration preparation specialists and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion and client deliveryReview and approval of client deliverables, including forms and reports; build internal and external relationships with project stakeholders; identify and document processes and system improvementsAnalysis and management of engagement financial data, including client billing

Qualifications:

Minimum eight years of recent experience in preparation and review of business license or registrationsBachelor's degree in business, accounting or a related field of study from an accredited college/universityLicensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, master's in taxation, CMI, or SIX SGMA, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listingAny individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that listStrong written and oral communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL Server, XML, PowerPoint, Project, Visio or process mapping software and strong technical awareness and basic knowledge of global indirect tax issuesStrong skills in indirect tax information systems, including strong project management skills, go to market and the ability to analyze client business needs
