Hunter Engineering is currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing plant in Raymond, Mississippi.



Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products

Responsibilities:

  • Assure quality in all phases of the fabrication/manufacturing process
  • Ensure continuous production of products that meet established standards
  • Understand customer expectations and needs
  • Implement quality standards and quality control processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wear all safety equipment and promote safety in the work areas
  • Perform product launch process on new products
  • Conduct analysis, inspection, test, and integration
  • Create and maintain inspection control plans
  • Collaborate with buyers on vendor quality
  • Apply statistical process control methods
  • Maintain calibration database
  • Document data from quality assurance activities
  • Communicate significant issues
  • Inspect products and parts for quality
  • Reject nonconforming parts

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and self-driven
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing theory
  • Ability to motivate and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
