Job Summary

The Healthy Families Family Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role in community outreach, recruiting new families, and facilitating parent engagement activities within the program. Additionally, the coordinator may manage a small caseload during peak program capacity.

Essential Job Functions
  • Community Outreach:
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations for referrals
    • Market the program to potential partners and families through presentations and events
    • Participate in community meetings and events for program promotion
  • Parent Engagement Coordination:
    • Establish a Parent Advisory Council and lead Family Time events
    • Facilitate support groups and playgroup activities for program participants
Education and Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in working with children and families
  • Professional boundaries maintenance
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related fields
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Infant Mental Health Endorsement
