Facilities Manager at Sky Ranch - Join Our Team

This challenging role is essential to the mission of Sky Ranch, leading youth and families to know and follow Christ. As the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the care and maintenance of the camp property to create a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.

  • Perform hands-on maintenance duties at Sky Ranch Ute Trail
  • Manage maintenance, grounds, fleet, and construction projects
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs
  • Coordinate with contractors and ensure safety standards are met
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage facility budgets and purchasing
  • Communicate with Camp Director on all facility-related issues
  • Assist with property construction and remodels
  • Conduct property safety and vehicle inspections
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • General repair and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with employee policies and regulations
  • Perform grounds equipment maintenance
  • Report unsafe conditions promptly
Qualifications
  • High school degree required, some college preferred
  • 7+ years of facility management experience
  • Colorado wastewater certification or ability to acquire within 120 days
Knowledge
  • Project management experience in construction and landscaping
  • Understanding of facility support in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective staff management skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and manage budgets
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Physical Demands

Requires physical effort and agility, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing various tasks that demand muscle action and coordination.

Work environment involves exposure to outdoor elements and occasional exposure to mechanical parts and chemicals.
