The ELECT (Education Leading to Employment and Career Training) Case Manager is part of the Children and Youth Services (CYS) High School Department in the Education and Workforce Services (EWS) Division.

This position is primarily located.This position requires a sincere interest in working with and supporting teen parents, their children and their overall health and development.
The ELECT Case Manager is required to facilitate and maintain contacts and relationships with fellow ELECT Program team members, as well as other Congreso departments and programs to allow for quick referral of services outside of this program.
This position should be knowledgeable of external resources that clients can be referred to including community resources at other organizations.
This position has access to sensitive Congreso information and is expected to handle such information with integrity and professionalism.This position has regular contact with members of the community and is expected to represent Congreso in a professional manner.
The ELECT Case Manager will report directly to the ELECT Program Manager. This is a 100% ONSITE position.
The ELECT Case Manager applies the principles of the organization's signature service delivery approach, Primary Client Model (PCMTM), by promoting a positive employee/client-focused experience that is appreciative of the unique strengths, values and needs that each individual brings; and by using data to inform and drive decision making.

- Attends all Congreso trainings and in-services as required, including relevant professional groups to maintain professional, requisite knowledge and licensure.
- Attends, participates, and facilitates relevant staff meetings to promote communication and execution of goals.
- Ability to effectively use standard office equipment, including a variety of common software programs such as Office365, UNIDAD, and other customized databases.
- Follows through on assignments, works in a timely manner, within established deadlines, and completes special projects specific to the function of the department, as needed or as directed by supervisor.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups, in a compassionate, courteous, and respectful manner that fosters an inclusive environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including effective and respectful communication with individuals and groups.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) written and verbal skills a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Experience, Education, and Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or GED/HISET required.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Education or related field preferred.

- With a Bachelor's degree, a minimum 2+ years' work experience in a case management, human service, health care, community or educational setting or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
- In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 4+ year's work in a case management, human service, health care, community or educational setting or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
Certification/License:
- Valid driver's license preferred
