DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The appropriate applicant must have strong communications skills, excellent knowledge of DoD contracts and finance, and exceptional computer skills. Reports to Production Control Manager(s) for Restoration Depot. Works with other Project Analysts and Financial Manager to ensure continuity of all in-process financial activities. Uses existing spreadsheets and data tools to monitor and track the allocation and execution of labor hours and dollars. Identifies issues and problems and formulates corrective actions as required.

Analyzes existing financially-related processes and procedures for opportunities for improvement. Prepares business cases for proposed improvement opportunities. Develops plan of action for all approved process improvement activities. Monitors process improvement implementations, including development of documentation and training. Revisits policies, processes, and procedures to ensure currency and accuracy.
REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • Performs daily financial operations, including daily/weekly/monthly expenditure reporting and project closeout.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates financial spreadsheets and databases.
  • Tracks performance to spend plans and budgets.
  • Collects and reviews financial data from various sources.
  • Maintains appropriate financial records and documentation.
  • Maintains current knowledge of Corporate and Government regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) and Data Item Descriptions (DID), including preparation, format, content, and distribution and tracking.
  • Special Projects as required.

Education :
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Data Management), or

four to eight years of work experience in a related field.

Travel Required : 0%

Work Location :
San Diego, CA
This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS
Deltek Costpoint, Process Improvement, ISO-9001:2015, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)

REMARKS
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of Government and Contractor technical and management personnel.
Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Compensation:
$ $50.82 an hour.


Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
