Civil Engineering Planning and Programming Lead

Role Overview:

Supervise the implementation of a roadmap for space launch infrastructure to fulfill the client's vision. Assist engineering activities and assess project blueprints. Offer guidance on project viability, cost efficiency, compliance with regulations, or potential options. Carry out on-site inquiries or studies to gather and analyze information. Collaborate closely with the Environmental Assessment Lead in creating NEPA and other eco review paperwork, as well as aiding construction contractors in obtaining environmental licenses. Enhance the support segments of space launch management by executing planning and programming tasks, including assisting in formulating and executing facility and capital investment planning for DoD military construction jobs like program advancement and assistance, creation and reviews of DD Form 1391, strategic facility planning and supervision, feasibility reports, and overall program and project implementation. Maintain direct interaction and regular interactions with Government representatives and be in charge of updating the designated contact persons on project progress.

Primary Requirements:
  • Over 7 years of experience in managing facilities and civil engineering projects, providing planning and programming aid to client initiatives focused on strategic facility planning, investment planning, and construction management
  • Background working with the NEPA procedure
  • Understanding of facility operations and maintenance
  • Capability to collaborate directly with clients utilizing principles of the civil engineering sector, including regulations and advice
  • Highly motivated, showcasing a dynamic work ethic and eagerness to contribute to the mission
  • Adept at utilizing Microsoft SharePoint and Teams in a teamwork environment
  • Proficient in creating and delivering presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with planning and permitting for construction undertakings in California
  • Background in working on a Spaceport
  • Experience operating in a flexible setting and engaging with multiple stakeholders for project triumph
  • Experience utilizing the NexGen platform
  • Familiarity with the California Coastal Commission, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service environmental policies, and California State environmental regulations
  • Possession of outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

Compensation at Booz Allen is decided by various factors, including but not restricted to venue, the individual's particular mix of education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience, as well as contract-specific feasibility and organizational necessities. The expected salary range for this role is $75,600.00 to $172,000 annually. The forecasted estimate represents the standard salary spread for this position and is just one element of Booz Allen's total recompense bundle for employees. This posting will terminate within 90 days from the Posting Date.
