As an Executive Team Leader at Target, your role is all about leading your team to provide exceptional guest service and drive sales. A successful candidate will possess a 4 year degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage conflicts and hold others accountable.


Responsibilities include:

  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and meets store sales goals
  • Anticipate staffing needs and recruit both short and long-term
  • Provide on-going training and development opportunities for team leaders
  • Recognize and appreciate team members to enhance guest service
  • Establish a culture of accountability and performance management
  • Understand business reports and guest insights to address opportunities
  • Respond effectively to any negative guest experiences
  • Create scheduling plans based on business workload and guest traffic
  • Implement organizational and operational changes
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance


Basic requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Adaptability to current technology needs
  • Physical ability to handle merchandise and respond to guest or team member issues
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
