Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the reliability of systems, minimizing downtime, and maintaining service-level objectives (SLOs).

Developing, automation and implementing automation tools to streamline processes, deploy applications, and manage infrastructure.
Setting up and maintaining monitoring systems to track system performance, identify issues, and facilitate proactive problem resolution.
Responding to and resolving incidents, conducting post-incident reviews, and implementing improvements to prevent future occurrences.
Collaborating with development teams to design scalable and reliable architectures that meet the needs of the application and support.
Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in both software and infrastructure.
Using IaaC tools to define and manage infrastructure, making it more consistent and reproducible.
Working closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative DevOps culture.
Forecasting future capacity needs and ensuring that systems can scale to meet growing demand.
Integrating security best practices into the development and operations processes to ensure a secure environment.
Actively participating in retrospectives and continuously seeking ways to improve system reliability and performance.
Creating and maintaining documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.
Implementing and testing fail-safe strategies and backup plans
Evaluating and optimizing data processing pipelines and load balancing; Designing and managing configuration and infrastructure as code.
