Key responsibilities include supervising a Production Manager and a Sanitation Manager, as well as guiding six other salaried supervisors and over 80 hourly workers. Collaboration with various departments such as warehouse, maintenance, quality, R&D, and production planning is crucial for organizational success.
Effective communication across all levels of the organization is essential for a successful Plant Manager. The role involves leading the team, providing direction, mentoring, and taking a hands-on approach when necessary.
We are seeking a candidate with a background in LEAN principles who can effectively balance these principles with the production's needs for flexibility and agility.
The Plant Manager must plan strategically for the future while maintaining focus on current tasks. This role requires collaboration with the COO and being receptive to feedback for personal and organizational growth.
Situated at the center of the facility, this visible role demands great interpersonal skills, trustworthiness, and credibility for effective leadership.
The desired candidate should demonstrate expertise, confidence, and passion for manufacturing equipment and processes. Proficiency in production planning and enhancing efficiencies is vital for the company's expansion.

RequirementsAdditional Qualifications/Competencies:
- 7+ years of operations management experience in the food industry
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities
- Prior ERP experience desired
- Experience with regulatory agencies (USDA, WDA, etc.)
- SQF Experience
- HS Diploma or HSED required, secondary education preferred
- Knowledge of plant sanitation, CIP, COP
